Moe focuses on investments in the areas of cloud computing, machine intelligence, analytics, and cybersecurity. Moe was a Vice President of NetApp, a leading provider of enterprise data storage solutions. Prior to that, Moe was President and CEO of Bycast Inc., a leader in storage virtualization software for cloud and object storage. During his tenure at Bycast, Moe led the company from a seed stage startup to a profitable market leader with a global customer base. Bycast was successfully acquired by NetApp in the spring of 2010. Moe has extensive experience working with entrepreneurial companies and taking to market leading-edge technology products. Moe is a recipient of Business in Vancouver’s “Forty Under 40” and British Columbia Technology Industries Association Person of the Year award for 2011. Moe holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of British Columbia and a holds several US Patents for his past technical work.
